The lodge is spacious and airy and nicely decorated. It requires some basic maintenance ( leaky taps, wobbly bed, shower head loose, fridge needs good clean and defrost ), a deep clean ( bits of biscuit under the sofa that our dog drew our attention to! Drawers had random items in them and needed a clean. Kitchen is very poorly equipped- no sharp knives, very few glasses, only 3 mugs, 2 of which were chipped, one old frying pan. None of these things were a huge problem for us, but with minimal effort and investment this property could go from very average to very good.

Location was great for a chilled weekend away and we had a lovely weekend. The trip was full of positives but the few highlighted negatives was the cleanliness was poor, the hot tub wasn’t hot enough to get in first night, there was 1 towel between us all of what we could find, the shower would not drain which we mentioned but did not receive help, the bbq was late to arrive on the Friday and try not to rock the beds as you may get sea sick from the motion. Overall the caravan needs work doing to it as its aged but for a weekend away it was okay.
