The photos don't make justice of how cute the place actually is, especially the entrance where the large windows portray the forest, lovely. The picnic bench is just ideal, the cute kitchen, the rooms, everything is so cozy that I would definitely want to stay there again.

This fit what our family of 5 was seeking perfectly. A quiet gateway close enough to town to grab a few groceries or meal out but private enough to have the experience of solitude in nature. The surrounding area was perfect for our children to run and play and spend some quality time exploring nature. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable in the house (cozy beds and living room, clean well stocked bathrooms) The house was well stocked and it is obvious some diligent thought was put in to make guests comfortable. Took up the recommendation to visit the Empire Mine as well and spent the entire afternoon! Worth the trip. I would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking to spend a relaxing weekend (or week!) in a private location with great hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah's beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The surrounding woods were so pretty, even in the rain, and we were delighted to see deer and a hare in the yard! Sarah was very responsive and helpful. We hope to return.

I was looking for a quiet place to get away and this fit the bill. Deer in the front yard everyday. Cozy fire. So quiet. Dog friendly -which was so nice. Sarah was really responsive. Great experience.

Such a beautiful, charming home away from home! I’m from the area originally and felt both right at home and like I was staying somewhere extra special. The master bedroom is especially beautiful with an amazingly comfortable bed!! Sarah is a phenomenal host - so kind, helpful, and responsive. I would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend. Just book already!
