What a wonderfully cozy spot to ring in the new year! The fireplace and kitchen were highlights, as we cooked up a storm, and spent much of the time cuddled up by the fire. The essential oil diffuser in the salon and more in the bathroom were super nice touches. With the St Laurence River a stone's throw away, it was fun watching the tides recede and expose ice-covered rocks and river grasses. Sunrises there are not to be missed! The morning we left was the most exquisite sunrise... it's absolutely worth waking up early and wandering out to the river for those every chance you have!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had our two dogs and were very comfortable. There is a cozy feeling to the home and having the wood stove is a wonderful enhancement. We had everything we needed and some things we didn’t realize we needed (Miles Davis record and essential oil diffuser). Recommend and we hope to return in the future.

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday at Mélanie and François’ cottage by the river. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time - space to cook, read, and relax, quiet roads for long runs, and easy 30-minute access to Vieux-Québec. Very serene and cozy.

A cozy and delightful stay. We spent so much time just sitting in the living room with a wood fire burning. The hosts were polite and responsive. I texted them one morning to let them know that the coffeemaker needed descaling, and they came over a few hours later to fix it. Really great service.

Wonderful cabin with a view of the river. Very tasteful decor. No TV, but the record player and eclectic vinyl collection more than compensates! Comfy bed versatile bathroom. Plenty of parking fir our RV. 5 stars - would stay here again!
