What a wonderful stay, the lovely cottage lays in a quiet place, where you will spot several squirrels and birds. Perfect to start or end your journey in Sri Lanka. We loved the outdoor shower! Don’t be scared of insects, tjitjaks and mosquitoes as there are quite a lot of them, you can even find a frog in your toilet. The family is really friendly and the beach is good for a long walk, you can’t swim over there. Overall, very recommended!

Die Unterkunft und die Gastfreundlichkeit von Nimathi und ihrer Familie waren großartig. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Der Bungalow liegt nahe am Flughafen und ist perfekt für die ersten Tage in Sri Lanka. Das Abendessen war traditionell und unfassbar lecker. Danke Nimanthi für diesen tollen Start in unsere Sri Lanka Rundreise.

Wat een prachtige plek aan zee! Het eten is echt heerlijk. Geen sri lankese prijzen maar zeer zeker waard. Super lekker! The cabin is cute en prive! The host is enorm vriendelijk en staat altijd voor je klaar. Het hoofdhuis was bezet maar daar had je geen last van. De cabin heeft een heerlijke buiten douche.

We cannot put in words just how beautiful Nimanthi's place was, but we'll try. Stunning surroundings; so peaceful and beautiful. The sea is adjacent to the property so you can walk to it any time. It was a very clean beach with hardly anyone around; felt very private. The room was a little small, but manageable. The only drawback of the stay was lack of air conditioning. It's okay if you're visiting in the winter, but the summer was a bit too hot for us to handle during the day. All the same, it was cool during the night. Special mention to Padma (Nimanthi's mother), for her outstanding food. We haven't eaten Sri Lankan food as good as hers since we got here. Just wholesome and delicious food served with love and care. We wish Nimanthi and her family all the best. Book this stay if you're looking to be lost in a little piece of Negombo paradise. The main town of Negombo is about ten km away; Nimanthi arranged a tuk-tuk for us to get there.
