Booked this last-minute to get clearer skies for the eclipse, but we’d love to come back with friends someday! A beautiful house and guest house with space for everyone and a stunning view.

The location is superb, and the lake is right behind the house. The amenities inside the house were as described, and everything was spotless and working as expected. The fire pit in the backyard with the wood was a nice surprise. The only two minor issues we had were: 1. The apartments were separate from the main house, with only one set of keys - so managing it between multiple people was challenging. Please have at least two sets of keys available. 2. There was very little to do in the town itself. We enjoyed the serenity and the calm since ours was a short vacation, but we would have been thoroughly bored if our vacation was longer than 3-4 days. I will still highly recommend the place to stay if you plan to come.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning lake house rental, and I was absolutely blown away by the renovations. The addition of the new boat dock was the cherry on top, providing endless opportunities for lakeside relaxation and water activities. The sunsets were fabulous! And very comfortable beds! The family is already asking to book again. We will be back!

We had the most incredible stay at Shady Shores lake house! The breathtaking sunsets were the highlight of our evenings, and the new boat dock was a game changer...The recent renovations added a touch of modern comfort to the cozy charm of the house. Highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a rejuvenating lakeside getaway! Thanks Clay! We will return!

All I can say is…Amazing!! The family and I, along with a few of my kids’ friends, spent several days out at this Airbnb on the lake… and we were all blown away! The house was amazing.. very spacious.. awesome lake location with incredible views! The main house had absolutely everything we could ever need and more. The detached apartment style guest quarters were perfect for my teenagers and their friends. A ton of room and very comfortable ! My wife is still raving about how comfortable the master suite beds were! We brought a couple of jet skis and the dock/lift set up was a life-saver. They must of just refinished it because it looked brand new. We caught some huge catfish right off the dock!! The lakeside yard was huge with a large fire pit.. great for hanging out. Clay..the property manager/owner, was very organized and proactive with check in detail. He even called just to check in on us during our stay .. awesome guy! Incredible lake house and location…WE WILL BE BACk!!!
