Dan was very good at responding to questions. A couple of reasons for not being completely satisfied. 1. Property was very overgrown with weeds not only in the gardens but also on the patio and walkways. 2. There were no stairs to the beach and although not a long walk, it would have been more convenient with stairs directly to the water. 3. Although the kitchen had lots of utensils. may were old and knives were very dull. Never did find a knife sharpener. no nice serving plates for more than 5-6 people. 4. The lake porch is nice and big but could use a an awning to protect from sun.

Overall, a great stay, the water was beautiful and had plenty of space for our family of 7. We would love to return, however, the space was not very clean, lots cob webs on the ceiling and quite dusty throughout. Additionally we were not informed prior to our stay that we would have to take our own garbage with us once we checked out. This was extremely inconvenient and I have never experience this with another Airbnb. We also were not given any direction on a dump or landfill close by we could go to, so we ended up bringing it all back with us to our homes.

I recently booked Dan's beautiful lake house in Selkirk for a 5-day getaway to celebrate my birthday with family, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and the peaceful sound of seagulls and waves. The house itself was exceptionally comfortable, with 3 bedrooms and additional sleeping options, it accommodated all 10 of us. The fully equipped kitchen was a delight for preparing meals together as a family. The living room with its large sectional couch was perfect for lounging and afternoon naps!! The large deck overlooking Lake Erie was a magical place to enjoy our morning coffee and take in the breathtaking views. Overall, our stay at Dan's lake house was beyond our expectations. The location, the comfort, the amenities, and the beautiful views all contributed to a fantastic celebration. Thank you, Dan, for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!
