The manor is nothing short of gorgeous. We were a group of friends celebrating a birthday and we immediately felt at home. James was super communicative and had set everything up before we arrived - the hot tub was ready and there were cosy fires in every room. I must strongly disagree with some of the other reviews on here - the kitchen was very well equipped and the rooms were all very clean and tidy. Some people seem to be expecting a newly built hotel when this of course is a beautiful old manor house with its own quirks and features that make it a completely unique stay. Would highly recommend!

Responsive host, easy to get in to the place and left us to our own devices. Hot tub was large, working and comfortable. Few items in the house in need of repair, but nothing critical (door handles etc). Kitchen and linens all working and clean. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved staying at the Manor for our Hen weekend. Even prior to arriving, Emily was so lovely answering our questions via email which was hugely helpful when planning a big weekend like this. James was a fantastically accommodating host, when the first of our party arrived at the house, James was making sure the fire was lit, hot tub was clean and water was warm. He showed us around the house and made sure we had everything. It's a lovely property with a well appointed kitchen, enough tableware and kitchenware to feed 13 ladies. The living spaces are super inviting and were great to hang out in as a group. The log fire and hot tub were an absolute dream, the cherry on top of an excellent weekend. I'd recommend The Manor to anyone wanting accommodation for a large group, we'd love to book another stay here in the future.

great space for a party/ hen do. lots of rooms. really well organised kitchen and living spaces. comfy beds. old building which is beautiful but needs a refurbishment and the decor and the soft furnishings need a little TLC. kitchen was good with lots of pans and utensils but you need to use matches for the oven and hob. lots of trip hazards and the door handles regularly fell off and people locked in bathrooms! Lots of showers with hot water and many toilets but low water pressure.

Needs a lot of TLC . Although ample size for large group, it is worn down . Dangerous dents under carpets and loose hallway tiles which were trip hazard and hole in kitchen wooden floor . 1 shower not working nor hot tub jets.
