Everything was perfect and more. We were delighted by the attention to details and the stories behind this place - from the view to the food. Fernando was the best host we’ve ever encountered- felt like catching up with an old friend. We felt not only right at home, but right at home with good friends. We will absolutely be back!

Our stay at Luna Rosa Farms was nothing short of wonderful. Fernando and Arminda were the perfects hosts. Not only did they go above and beyond to make us feel welcome, the house was just as warm and welcoming. The view from the front yard is stunning and the house is a total vibe. Every night before we returned for the night, Fernando made a fire for us in the impressive stone fireplace. Our room and bathroom were amazing, the mattress was the perfect firmness for us and we slept so soundly. Fernando was an extremely thoughtful and friendly host and the breakfasts were amazing and such a great way to start our mornings. Fernando had wonderful suggestions for places to eat and things to do. However, this is the sort of place where you would be just as happy going out and exploring the beautiful Leelandau peninsula or staying inside and relaxing in their lovely space. We had such a great time and couldn’t be more grateful to our hosts; we have already begun to plan for our next trip.

Luna Rosa was an exceptional place to stay for a weekend away. The common areas were so cozy and inviting, we felt right at home. Fernando and his wife were excellent hosts and so friendly. The breakfast and coffee were both amazing. We’ve already told all of our friends and family about our wonderful stay, and we hope to be back soon.

I got lucky looking for a last minute booking Labor Day weekend. We had never stayed at a B&B before our stay, so Luna Rosa has set the bar very high. If you are looking for a spot on the Leelanau Peninsula you found it. The love that goes into the breakfast is priceless. Thank you Fernando and Arminda for sharing!!!
