Luxurious, clean apartment with awesome views. Over 1 hr walk to/from La Cala. 10 min by car. Loved the fully automatic coffee machine, and the huge TV (no cable, Spanish tv channels with Rakuten app, other apps can be installed). Beds were comfortable. Bed in master is smaller than king size though. Therefore, we had to use the smaller bedroom with 2 single beds (no ensuite bathroom). No blackout curtains/shutters in bedrooms (only curtains that let some light through). Bring your own supplies, as property sparsely stocked (no soap in dispensers, coffee, tea). Warm water ran out rather fast, although sufficient for 3 quick showers. Southeast facing terrace in shadow from late afternoon. Nearby construction not too disturbing. Although we were informed that ‘there may be disruption with regards to swimming pools opening’, we did not take this to mean that outdoor pools would be closed. Had we known, we would not have booked the property. Otherwise highly recommended!

Matthew's place is a bright, perfectly designed and stylish apartment with fabulous views over La Cala. Great open plan kitchen/dining & living area with well equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor balcony which captures the sun. Sofa was super comfy as were the beds. The little onsite gym, sauna and indoor pool were great for our needs. The property was managed by Carly - her levels of customer service were excellent, responding quickly to anything that arose during our stay. I would definitely recommend future guests have access to a vehicle (as we did) as the apartment is at the top of a hill with all amenities down in La Cala. There was a lot of construction traffic and noise in the vicinity which goes on into the early evening, so it wasn't as peaceful as we would have hoped during the day. But a great location to explore Costa del Sol and a lovely apartment to stay in with everything you need.
