Te Huia is a magical place. We are so lucky to find this place. Susanne and Paul built a peaceful sanctuary that allows guests to find escape velocity from the urban jungle and off the hedonic treadmill. The house is beautifully arranged both inside and out, and a spacious area to wind down after morning and afternoon hikes. If you're looking to practice mindfulness surrounded by lush native greenery, this is the place.

We've stayed at Te Huia several times and it is always the same. Perfect! It is a wonderful getaway, a quiet place to just relax and take in the view. Stylish furnishings, lovely bathroom, well kitted out kitchen, comfortable beds, and a great deck high above the surrounding countryside.

Totally awesome place. So relaxing and amazing views. Place has everything you would ever need and more - well equipped. Susanne & Paul were great too 😀
