This place worked great for our stay. The interior is a little dated, did not matter, all furnishings were comfortable when we were there. I thought not having internet would be an issue, no problem. We didn’t have too much free time on our hands anyway. I do recommend this property.

Our 2nd stay and won't be our last. New flooring, bathrooms nicely updated and gorgeous view thanks to the front windows/sliding doors. So relaxing sitting on the porch watching the people at the park across the street, really off the grid in a quiet setting. For entertainment, there is a nice selection of DVDs or bring your own. Within walking distance of the town square, several places to eat if you choose or just kick back and enjoy the quiet. We had a wonderful time once again and look forward to our next getaway weekend. Thanks for having us!

Being in Blanco, on the River, at the State Park was a great place to reunite with friends and family. Easy walk to town through Bendseil (town) Park. The covered porches allowed us to enjoy outside even on our one rainy day. This home is charming. We had everything we needed to enjoy our weeping Blanco!

We stayed for four days and had a great time. Carolyn was very helpful in local dining and activity recommendations. The home backs right up to Blanco State Park with easy park access from the yard. It is also within easy walking distance to several nice restaurants and shops. The house is very well stocked with towels, linens and excellent kitchen facilities that we made good use of. Our host, Carolyn was very gracious and responsive. Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat within easy drive for outings to Luckenbach, Fredericksburg, Enchanted Rock, Pedernales Falls as well as any number of wineries and distilleries.
