We felt at home the moment we opened the door. You will want for nothing during your stay here. Brenda is an excellent host and has thought of everything from amenities to entertainment inside and outside during your stay. The home is lovely and set in a very peaceful area. Set directly on the beach it was a joy to wake up each morning to such beautiful views. Although there are neighbors, each home is surrounded by trees that allow for a private setting. During our stay in October we only saw 2 friendly dogs on the beach. The closest town, Rogers City is small with limited restaurants but all were good and everyone was very friendly. If you desire to explore there are several parks and trails in the immediate location (don't forget to explore the working lighthouse located 15 minutes along the beach). Day trips to Cheboygan, Mackinaw City and Michigan's Upper Peninsula are all options and the drive was beautiful with the changing of the leaves. Definitely want to visit again
