Absolutely loved the Blackfish cottage, so comfortable, clean and cozy. Office staff was super friendly and inviting. Everyone at the resort were kind and respectful. We had a great visit and would definitely come back!

The photos do not do this cottage justice, it is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The cottage itself is modern and spacious (for 2 adults) and had the best stocked and maintained kitchen I've ever found in a self catering cottage! Wish we could have stayed for longer!

this was one of the best equipped rentals we have ever stayed in! sheets, towels, kitchenwares were all high quality and you could really tell the amount of thought and effort put into the amount of books, games, movies, etc available for use! even specific bookcase and items for kids. they supplied very high quality binoculars that enabled us to scan the strait between islands on the horizon and watch humpback whales! the people managing it were SO friendly! the cottages are definitely a bit close, but neighbors were quiet and respectful and the way they designed and situated them means easy privacy. wish we had a place like this our entire trip. just super comfortable, well equipped, easy, and lovely stay. not a bad thing to say.

We had our daughter with us. Perfect with the 2 bedrooms. Awesome view of ocean. Our place was very nice and the kitchen had everything and more in it. Roxy’s food truck was fabulous. The Baja tacos were fantastic. They have covered outdoor seating with a view of the ocean. Would highly recommend Alder Bay. Tours were convenient too in Telegraph Cove( kayaking and whale watching) , Port McNeill ( whale watching) and Port Alice for sea otter tours. There is an on-site laundromat. We love this part of Vancouver Island and this is our 3rd time in this area.

everything was beyond our expectations.... especially the communication was so great and they helped us a lot since we had a flat tire while there... the view is stunning and the cottage has absolutely everything you are looking for... there were even quite a lot of games for the kids and we loved the food truck and playground around the corner... there is really nothing to complain about and we really loved our stay here and will be back for sure!!! thanks again for having us...♡
