We enjoyed the Carriage House during our ten day stay at Thanksgiving. The house was peaceful, charming, cozy & the location was ideal! Walk or drive to the beach, Newport was only a 2 mile drive & the market was a very short easy drive. Lisel made recommendations & was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again & would highly recommend this charming property!

Lisel's place was perfect for our group of 6 for a long weekend. We were in town to run the Newport Marathon, so we wanted a place that was quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located. The home was exactly as listed, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare dinner the night before the race. Lisel and other co-hosts were very communicative before and during our stay. We loved the history behind the old carriage house, and we enjoyed doing a puzzle that was left in one of the cupboards! The only downsides were that we could hear people moving around us upstairs quite late into the night, but that's to be expected when staying on the first floor of a home. Also, we were disappointed that the jacuzzi was closed - I don't think the open/closed timeframe was listed in the airbnb description (I could have just missed it) so we were looking forward to using that, but not a huge deal. Overall I would recommend Lisel's property.
