The place was as described except no one was available when we arrived at 7pm and needed ice. There were people in the office area but they would not come to the door. This is also a restaurant/tavern and when I messaged the host he said it’s closed and the ice machine is broke. The description says they are available until 10pm. Probably due to being during the off season. There was only one other guest we could see there. Also very noisy due to frequent trains. We left one day early and as expected did not get a credit or refund. Overall not very impressed.

Property was okay. Stayed for 3 nights.Had issues with the wifi 1st night, resolved for last 2 nights. Hair in the shower drain, dust under the beds.The first morning there were empty beer cans around firepit. After 1 -1/2 days still there, I cleaned the area myself.Our last night we received via Airbnb message, there was a boil water notice, as there was e-coli and coliform in the water. Devon asked if we had an issue. We responded "yes". Devon told us to go to the Tavern next door to get bottled water, when we went they told us they had run out, but would get some and deliver to us. Which they did do. My issue is the notice said issue was discovered on 9/28, and had subsequent tests on 10/4, and 10/6 also showed coliform and e-coli. We stayed from 10/10-12th, the violation date was 10/10 per the notice. I've uploaded in pics. We would not have stayed if we'd known. We requested a refund which owner denied, but Airbnb did give us a credit of $150. Bring your own drinking water!

The location & quaintness of this tiny cabin was perfect! It served its purpose and gave us a couple great nights sleep on our road trip.

Convenient location near west glacier, great value for the price. Only downside is that noise from the highway and from nearby passing train may wake you up at night.
