We loved our stay at this adorable home. The wraparound porch was a great place to relax at the end of a long day exploring. The house is a quick walk to the town square with cute shopping and dining locations, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We felt we had the best of both worlds in a peaceful setting, but just minutes away from wineries and distilleries as well. A great Hill Country escape was had by our entire group!

This was the perfect place for our first vacation as a family of 3. It was conveniently located near everything we wanted to do, so we didn’t have to spend a long time driving around. The house was very clean and had everything we may need for the weekend. The backyard and porch was perfect to hang out and play outdoor games. We will definitely consider staying here again if we ever make it back out to Johnson City!

This was a beautiful home! It was our first time to visit Johnson City and did so because we wanted to go to Pedernales state park. It was very convenient to downtown, which has food trucks and a nice coffee house. We were able to enjoy the local food scenery because it was so close. We loved the Texas Hill Country map in the wall near the laundry room that helped us decide which place to explore first. The house has a very spacious and relaxing wrap around patio, with a hammock and outdoor games for the kids. The firepit was a great way to end the day with family making smores. The host was responsive and clear with instructions. It was also very pet friendly - they had pet bowls, and treats for dogs. Our little dog enjoyed her stay as well LOL. We will definitely be back! Thank you for letting us stay here!

The house is a 5 minute walk from downtown Johnson City. There’s some great breweries and places to eat. Onto the house. Some of the bath towels had yellow stains on them and the master bed sheets had dog hair on them. We washed everything, but for the price of the cleaning fee I feel we shouldn’t have to. The house is small inside, it was tight for 5 people. The porch is big, but it looked like no one had used it in awhile. It hadn’t been swept and the games were all over the place. The internet was very slow, 20Mbps was the best we got. If you have to work remote while you’re here keep that in mind. The main bathroom is very spacious, but the shower slings water everywhere and smelled like mildew. The other bathroom is tight and the door is not hung properly, so it won’t close all the way. The shower faucets were tricky to find a sweet spot between scalding hot and cold, but it’s doable. The a/c is nice and cold also.
