We enjoyed our stay very much. The one thing I read on another review was traffic noise from across the cove and there was a bit but it didn't lessen anything for us. If people were looking for silence this might not be the best option for them. Allen was very helpful with any questions we had and answered promptly . The place had nearly everything we needed but we brought all of our own food and spices, etc. We were the first renters of the season so there were no spices there. I would suggest bringing anything important to you in that aspect. All in all it was a great camping experience. I was even able to use my inflatable kayak during the higher tides and explored the cove a bit. I would recommend or perhaps rent again if I get a chance.

Allen's place was exactly what was described in the listing. It was to perfect spot for some rest, relaxation, and hiking with the dogs. The fire pit overlooking the cove was wonderful, and the cove was fun to explore at low tide. Next time I would pack watershoes instead of crocs! The location was perfect for us, as Acadia is close by enough to go and enjoy the park and the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbour, but you are away from the swarms of people at Long cove. On top of the RV/location being great, Allen was a wonderful host and was super accommodating when we had some issues with our travel plans due to a family emergency. Thanks again Allen!

We enjoyed our stay and were happy that the camper was pet friendly. Everything was very neat and Allen has some great guides for trails and hiking in the area.

Perfect location for us and the pups. Lots to do in the area and not far from Acadia. The camper was the perfect size and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Unfortunately we had some rainy nights but we were still able to have a fire one night. We definitely plan on coming back!

We enjoyed three great evenings here. Lots of firewood. Pretty setting. Allan’s place is as described and the pictures are accurate. We had everything we needed for this style of camping. We hope to be back one day. Thanks Allan!
