The Old Byre Cottage used to be a farm building and has been renovated into a holiday home. It has retains some original artefacts, such as a wooden hay hopper in the Living Room. This cottage is near the sea, Shell Island's beach and the sea is 1.9 miles away. This cottage is also a 10 minute riverside walk away (0.5 mile) from the middle of the pretty village of Llanbedr. A great location to enjoy your time in the Snowdonia National Park. This 2 bedroom cottage can sleeps 6 guests (not including cots) in total. LIVING ROOM - Lounge Area (Ground Floor) with a 2 seater sofa and two arm chairs with a small TV with Freeview & DVD player. This TV is not a smart TV (unable to connected to internet for Netflix & Disney+) LIVING ROOM - Kitchen Area (Ground Floor) with area with an electric hob & oven, small fridge with a 1 freezer draw, microwave, kettle and a toaster with 4 slots. There us a Kitchen bar with 4 bar stools. LIVING ROOM - Dining Area (Ground Floor): in the corner of the room is a table that can be folded out to be a dining table. There is 4 dining room chairs keeper in the Living Room, an extra 5th chair can be found in Bedroom 1 and 2. BEDROOM 1: Double bedroom with it’s own door that leads directly onto the shared courtyard area (Ground Floor). BEDROOM 2: Two single beds and on request basis only a double sofa bed (1st Floor). The default set up for the sofa bed is as a sofa. **** IF guests want the sofa bed set up as a bed, guests MUST request at the time of making the booking. The normal set up is as a sofa, so Guests MUST remember to request it to be made into a bed **** Bathroom: Bath with a shower over the bath, toilet and hand wash basin (Ground Floor). Shared Courtyard : There is a shared courtyard which is shared with the cottage next-door. There is an outside picnic bench for your use next to the Front Door. Shared Back Garden: There is shared back Garden which is not enclosed and an elevated patio area which is the perfect spot to relax, with brilliant sunset views out to the sea and over towards Llyn Peninsula. Shared Laundry Room: There is a shared laundry room in the Barn, this is shared with the cottage next door. In the laundry room there is a Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer. Shared Parking Area: The is off road parking which gusts can park 2 cars 'nose to tail', please see photos for more information. There is extra parking for another 6 cars on grass which can be requested from the owner of the cottage. This extra area is on a '1st come 1st served basis'. WiFi: Free WiFi access in this property. BED LINEN: Yes. TOWELS: Yes. ELECTRICITY & OIL: Included only for internal use, guests can not use the electric from this cottage to charge up their electric cars. The closest public EV charging point is at Tesco Car Park in Porthmadog (26 mins drive away - 13.5 miles). PET: 1 dog is allowed at a pet charge of £20. A second dog could be allowed by arrangement: The owner of the building only allows 2 pet dogs on site between the 2 cottages which share the courtyard. IF there are no dogs booked into the next-door cottage during your stay, then the owner will agreed to allow 2 dogs at an extra £20 Pet Charge. Travel Cot: Can be provided, please send a request when making your booking (Bedding not included). High Chair: Can be provided, please send a request when making your booking EXTRA: The owner of this Estate will not accept booking longer then 21 days. The bedrooms could be cut off from one another in the event of a fire. Each bedroom has its own fire exit route to get out of the cottage. Familiarise yourselves on arrival.
