The lodge is located in a small and beautiful village called Llanbedr
There is a village shop open from 7am-7pm selling a large array of groceries, soft drinks, beer and wine – its within walking distance from the lodge so don't worry if you have forgotten to pack everything.
The village has three public houses, all within walking distance of the Lodge.
The Hafan Artro a hotel and restaurant with a large garden.
The Victoria Inn located just after the bridge in the centre of the village.
The T Y Mawr further up the river, this is a hotel and restaurant with a large dog friendly garden.
There are many different walks on the doorstep from the lodge, in the centre of the village is a 'Walk Map' to help get you started but the lodge location is nestled in the very beautiful Snowdoina National Park so just go and explore!

Wales is very well known for its beautiful scenic views. The landscape around the coastline is truly spectacular. On clear days Mount Snowdon is visible in the distance along with all the other amazing hillsides.
It is possible to follow the coastal roads by car and there are many beach locations with car parks attached.
The local town only a 10minute drive away is called Barmouth and this is very well equipped for visitors with a large carpark.
You can also leave the car at home if you prefer and catch the train. Llanbedr has a small station of its own and you can choose your preferred location buying a ticket once you have boarded the train. Please note the train service is seasonal and isn't running after Autumn (please refer to the Transport for Wales for more information)
