很舒服的小房子，我们只订了一个房间，但因为没有其他房客，所以整座房子都给我们使用了，房东非常nice，还借我们厨房和餐具，多天在外旅游，终于可以煮点自己想食的菜，房子可以望到大吉岭的山景，值得推荐 5 stars recommend

The cottage was a really good place to stay. Although it gets really cold and there's no room heater but the view and a unique experience makes it worth it. Would love to stay here again :)

MULTIPLE RED FLAGS: DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE. IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY.  We stayed here for two nights in December 2020. The first thing you need to know is that you will need to walk at least 20 mins down the Loreto College hill, since the road down is too narrow for cars. The road was also under repair which meant that even a small car could not go through. You will have to walk down 20 mins with luggage, and up another 20 mins each time you want to go out, and back up 20 mins with luggage when you're leaving. This makes it significantly far from the main Mall Road of Darjeeling. The manager, Andrew, is rude, indifferent, inhospitable, and downright hostile. The entire time, he behaved as if he was doing us a favour by hosting us. He did not respond to calls when we were searching for the property, he acted innocent when we pointed it out. He has no respect for privacy and completely disregards it when you question him about it. We had booked the entire two-floor cottage for our stay. During the day and even in the evening, when we forgot to bolt the door, he would enter without asking or knocking! Despite the fact that we booked the *entire cottage* and paid up the entire amount online in advance. He kept entering the ground floor to use the water filter, or to grab things from the cupboard. If a guest has booked a property, should the host be using it as a utility area? If the guest questions the host, should he be rude, start shouting, and do it again anyway? Moreover, his 'Japanese' roots are a farce..lol.. he worked in Japan at an Indian restaurant where he wasn't a chef - so don't expect Japanese cuisine LOL! The house has a strange, moldy smell. The blankets and beds are just not enough (and don't even feel clean) to spend a winter night in Darjeeling. We only had breakfast once here and Andrew took two hours to prepare it. (By the way, the breakfast is not included.) The day we were supposed to check out, he started asking us at 9 am when we were leaving although the checkout time is 12 pm. We were relieved when we finally checked out and left this godforsaken "homestay". Lastly, the place calls itself a homestay but honestly it's just not. It's more like a guesthouse with a stubborn, inefficient host, and you have to fend for yourself.    See, the owners done live at thre property and the place is somewhat isolated. Which means the host gets to do whatever they want. DO NOT book this place even if you have absolutely no other option. It's just not worth the walk down and dealing with Andrew's attitude. If you do end up staying here - Good luck!

A cozy cottage, ideal for long stays. The cottage is located away from the noise and the hustle bustle of the city. It is a 30 mins walk to the mall area. The view from the cottage is surreal. The hosts are very welcoming and made our stay a wonderful experience. The manager, Mr Andrew is a gem of a person. He is a great guide and very helpful. Definitely try his food and especially the momos. Overall it was an unforgettable experience. Will surely revisit.

It was a very pleasant stay, Andrew, the care taker and host was really nice and he let us play with Marry, his pet dog who is exceptionally sweet.
