Our group of four couples had a lovely winter long weekend at this home. Everyone slept comfortably, the kitchen was excellent, and the windows let in plenty of light. A beautiful home in a good, quiet location. Reasons for the 4-star rating: 1) We found the living space much smaller than expected based on photos. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are one medium-sized room. 2) Slow communication. StayMarquis provides a number for texting instead of Airbnb, but it took hours to get a text back. There was an emergency line for after-hours, but our questions fell into the more common vacation category of "not urgent but still crucial to guest comfort" (beeping alarm, appliance function questions, etc.). 3) We were asked to be out by 10 am, even though the Airbnb booking page clearly stated 11 am checkout, without much notice. All of that said, we did resolve every issue, and the StayMarquis staff was polite and accommodating. Great place to stay even with a few minor snags

The house was a wonderful space to spend time with friends. Private with great amenities. A fantastic location, with a lot of areas to explore nearby. I would definitely return again in the future.

Great space. My wife and I stayed for our one year anniversary. House was spotless and the amenities were great for fall. Convenient to East Hampton and Montauk.

House is as described with thoughtful interior details and amenities. Only downsides are its a 10 min drive to East Hampton proper and the quality of the outdoor space (e.g., uncovered pool = bugs) doesn’t quite live up to the interior details. The host is responsive, but after hours support lacks information about the property to be helpful.

Amenities are not as described. Pool is only heated from 9am-5pm, leaving it unheated for 16 of the coldest hours of a day. When heater is on, it’s hardly noticeable. Hot tub did not work and was dirty. Temperature of hot tub is locked at 100 degrees, meaning your showers will be hotter. Fire pits did not work and host never resolved the issue. House is fine, but dishes were dirty. Thermostat kept reverting to 78 degrees despite being set for 70 (in August). Host is responsive but completely unhelpful.
