MARIELLA’s place is very clean and comfortable. It’s an excellent location. Closed to everything. She is very kind and accommodating. We want to come back again!!

Awesome stay in his beautiful home just 2-3 mins away from the entrance to the Sassi. The house is very comfortable and Mariella is an amazing host (even allowed us a late checkout upon request)! There are basic food items that are provided and Mariella even went one step further and left some snacks for us. Bed is super soft. Just a heads up (for people who didn’t know), Matera has a tourist charge that you need to pay on top of your Airbnb fee. The charges were 4 euros for us for our stay and Mariella kept a very transparent process throughout. In fact, her attitude was extremely warm and professional throughout the stay. Would love to stay here in case I visit Matera again.

Mariella and Mariano were very communicative and helpful with directions, check-in and local food recommendations. The flat was spacious, clean and light. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a great location from which to explore all sides of Matera.
