Spent a very hot long weekend here & really enjoyed it. Easy walk to beach, including dogs off leash area, & to General Store. Short drive to Balnarring for supermarket, bakery, pizza etc. House has a log cabin vibe, lovely kitchen & great outdoor deck. The living area was air conditioned & kept the house comfortable during the heat wave. Couches & beds were comfortable, bathrooms (2) clean & adequate.
Our second time at this house & just as good & family which include two toddler grandchildren keen to return next year A wonderful stay in a very well set up house with lots of thoughtful touches - toys & books for children, excellent linen, pillows & towels.
To stay at Alexander’s
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was as described and we were pleasantly surprised with the volume of space indoors and outdoors. Indoors the living area was spacious and the kitchen well equipped. We particularly appreciated towels, linen and amenities such as kitchen, laundry & bathroom being supplied. The board games kept the kids entertained on the one rainy day we had. It really was a home away from home. Outdoors plenty of space for outdoor backyard cricket. The heated spa was a real highlight. We enjoyed the close proximity and walking distance to the beach. Great walks and the local cafe sold the “best” chocolate cookies according to the kids. Our dog loved the dog beach and the house backyard was very secure. Host Alex was also very easy to deal with. We appreciated the offer to check in early & out later offering extra value to the stay. Overall we really enjoyed our time in Somers and look forward to staying again in the future.
We had such a beautiful stay at Alex’s place. We felt so welcomed and everything was so beautifully presented and accessible. The beds were all very comfortable and the whole house was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and the bbq easy to use. The kids absolutely loved the spa. The location was perfect. An easy walk to the dog beach and a flat walk to the general store.
