At a loss for words the place was absolutely amazing couldn’t have found a cooler spot to relax and spend some down time, the host was great the views were great the ponds amazing, this is the spot!

This was our second time staying at David's place, so we felt especially at home. We really enjoyed fishing and taking the paddleboat out on the pond. Evenings were spent playing games in the saloon. It's a peaceful and private location but just minutes from the historic Route 66.

We had a great stay! Loved the view of the pond from the dining room as the sun was coming up. The layout of the house worked well for our group, so that some could be playing board games in the saloon while others visited in the living room. Easy drive to Harp's grocery store. We cooked steaks on the grill and had a lovely, relaxing dinner in the dining room. It's wonderful to have a table that seats 8! David was quick to respond, and Emily cheerfully took care of all our needs. Will stay again. Note: master bed is extremely tall. I am 5'3" and had to use the chest at the foot of the bed to climb up. Two different gps's took us to a side entry on 300 Road which is not paved. Make sure you access the paved driveway from S 4260. Look for an old mailbox with a yellow ribbon hanging down. The paved driveway is opposite the mailbox. Best to find it in the daytime first.
