The cabin was cozy and the area is nice. I appreciated how it was well sanitized and cleaned. There were a couple major downsides for me though. One, the advertised fireplace was out of propane when I visited, so I couldn't enjoy the fireplace even though that was one of the biggest draws of the cabin for me. It also meant that the kitchen/living room wasn't heated, leaving half the cabin very cold. Two, I was under the impression that I would have a whole cabin. That is not the case. The bathroom is connected to a sauna, and the sauna has a small half-wall connecting to the other half the cabin. There is a lock between the bedroom and the bathroom, but essentially, whoever is in the part of the cabin you aren't renting could enter your bathroom pretty easily and you don't have a lock to stop that. It wouldn't have been quite as big an issue if it was clearly communicated that it was a shared cabin and the sauna door could be locked. The cabin is has the potential to be really great

Sauna was great and use of hot tub a few cabins over was offered which really surprised us!! Stacy is very professional and down to earth and helpful with things around the area too. It’s worth returning again in future

Location is nice. Great for access to nearby hiking trails. The cabin is cute and clean. However, the listing claimed a hot tub (but it didn't exist in cabin 1), a gas fireplace (that we couldn't get to work), a sauna (which is not private, but shared with the room next door). As I told the host, I don't mind paying for the amenities but I do mind when the amenities aren't available, don't work, or not as described. The host did refund ~50% of the rental price, but only had excuses for the over sight of misrepresented amenities. Even lied to me, which is something I don't tolerate. We will not be coming back to this property.

We stayed in cabin 1 after visiting and hiking in Blackwater Falls State Park. There weren’t many Airbnb options around for our last minute trip so I was excited when I found these cabins! I believe we were the first to stay in cabin 1 (as of 9/24/22) after a change in property management. The cabin was very clean and comfortable! After a quick tour of the cabin we realized cabin 1 didn’t have the hot tub the listing included, including a few other discrepancies we found in the house manual provided and after a quick call to our host, Stacy; we learned it was a misprint in the listing. Another cabin on the property wasn’t rented out that night and we were able to use their hot tub so it all worked out. I’m confident once some of these kinks get worked out future guests will feel right at home in the cabin. The sauna was a great addition as well! There appears to be a very nice restaurant on the same parcel of land that wasn’t included in the listing. My husband and I didn’t eat there so I can’t say if it was good one way or another but there was beautiful views off the porch. We ended up driving into town and ate at CJ Maggie’s which I HIGHLY recommend! All in all, the cabin is a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area!
