We had a cozy stay at the house. The kiddos loved running around the deck trees and the view was spectacular. Cannot be beat. We had a good time even making the drive up and down the rocky road. I love a nice piping hot outdoor shower in the cool morning Highly recommend staying here, wish we could have stayed longer!

A magical retreat! The treehouse was absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views for sunset and to wake up to in the morning. I wish I was still on the porch drinking my coffee. The kitchen was amazing and had anything you could ever need. They even had fresh cut flowers on the table! The outdoor shower was super fun to use, also. Definitely follow the driving directions they give you because I lost cell service on my way and the mile markers and pictures were super helpful. The drive from the freeway is definitely 30 minutes and totally felt comfortable driving with my Subaru- absolutely want to have AWD to get there though! Will totally be back again for longer to soak up those views.

What an incredible place in beautiful nature and surrounded by such beauty! Spencer and Courtney super nicely welcomed us and guided us because we arrived so late in the dark! The location is isolated (great!) and very private, and quite unique: my parents who arrived from Normandy were stunned by this unique place: we had a great weekend, long hikes around, and peaceful family moments which was exactly the goal of this winter weekend. Thank you Spencer/Courtney for your welcome and making this unique cabin available! Congratulations on all the little details that make it cozy and super practical! We will come back 🙂🙂🙂 What a nice way to discover Humbolt county and its wildness 🌲

This is a really special Airbnb -- super cute and cozy and way off the grid, where you can unwind surrounded by natural beauty. We especially appreciated the fully-stocked kitchen and comfy beds, and the outdoor shower was fantastic. Additionally, the host was very responsive, and nice enough to shuttle us to the treehouse because my car isn't a 4x4. The road is an adventure all of it's own -- for the right kind of traveler it'll only add to the experience. I definitely want to go back.

Loved this tree house! There’s nothing more relaxing than waking up surrounded by the mountains and trees!! So cute and cozy! We loved the off the grid location and we enjoyed driving the private road to get there. Spencer was really nice, welcoming and super accommodating. I hope to be back in the summer sometime! Thank you Spencer for opening up your beautiful place to us!
