Our family of four had a great stay! The location is great, right on the New River with lots of hikes nearby. The road is walkable and we met many neighbors who were very friendly and welcoming. The cabin is very nice and clean and has a huge front porch with a beautiful view. The WiFi was not working but we didn’t mind as we were there to experience the outdoors. Plan ahead regarding hikes, etc in case you have connectivity issues.

Brock’s property was better in person. The wood work and craftsmanship was unique and beautiful. Very clean. Beautiful scenery and great hiking trails nearby. Any and all questions were answered promptly. We highly recommend this property. Love the historical tribute to Granny Tabor!

Beautiful area and the house is nicely renovated and modern while maintaining a rustic feel appropriate to the area. Highly recommend.

Brock was an awesome host. You can’t beat being right on the river. We asked for more fire wood and they brought over a whole truck load the next day. We hiked Little Laurel Trail that’s a half mile from the house to the top at the Grandview overlook (can also drive there). We also kayaked 3 miles down the river. My only complaint is that the wifi didn’t work at all. I’m not one to complain about wifi, because I like being out and away for awhile. It just made it difficult trying to check in on my kids, but you have service couple miles down the road.
