The cabin was clean and very welcoming. We absolutely loved the sauna and spent hours in there! We took the advice in reviews and came prepared to cover the glass doors and I’m glad we did. The doors are metal, so magnets and XL black trash bags worked fine! We slept well every night and found the bed to be firm and comfortable. We really enjoyed fulfilling the bucket list moment of sitting in the hot tub during a snowfall! The wifi didn’t work the whole time we were there but we didn’t really mind so didn’t ask for help about it, although some Netflix would have been nice when we got snowed in! Upon arrival, the hot tub had a little snafu due to a regional power outage earlier that day and Stacy’s husband came right away to fix it. They were great responsive hosts! We liked the charming downtown area of Elkins. We recommend ordering the delicious steak and shrimp chachapa at El Gran Sabor and taking in the rooftop view at Brewstel. For pizza, we picked up Darren’s Pizza Shack twice!

We loved staying here and it was a great location for either going into Elkins or heading east to Seneca Rocks & other trail heads. The place was nice & cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed for making easy meals or heating up leftovers. We especially loved bouncing between sitting in the hot tub and the sauna. The place was also very clean and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the fact the the large patio was mostly enclosed with a fence, so we could put a couple chairs by the deck entrance to block the dog in and let him walk around the deck. One thing to note is that the cabins are close to the highway so you get some truck noise, but at night it was quiet. We had pizza from Ginos and went to Big Timber's brewery twice since we liked it so much! Can't wait to come back to the area in the summer :)

Be prepared for tight parking, and lack of privacy in the main living area. There are no blinds on doors, for the beautiful surroundings I am sure. However, anyone walking by to their cabin can see into the sitting and dining area. We had some issues with the remotes for the t.v.s, even playing battery switch around did not help. Our gas logs ran out of fuel, it was a low of 38 that night. We stayed in the bedrooms as there was base board heat in those rooms. It was a lovely place and spotless clean. Had a tree house cabin vibe. With just a few tweaks, like blowing the leaves that make the steps so slick could make this a 10/10

Great cabin & amenities. Beautiful location right in the heart of WV. Hope to definitely return!
