Atlantic Treargel is a self-contained studio detached from the host’s property within a quiet residential area of Newquay and walking distance to the town & beaches. The property is strictly non-smoking/vaping (indoors & outside) with a private patio. It offers light & airy ‘studio-style’ accommodation. Best-suited to couples or solo travellers with one king-size bed for sleeping. It has a small and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with walk-in shower. There is private parking for one car. There is a bus stop that is less than a 5-minute walk and the town’s train station is less than a mile. The property is within close proximity to beaches that include Tolcarne and Lusty Glaze (both approximately a 10-minute walk). Fistral beach is across town (2 miles) and is easily accessed by local bus or the electric ‘Beryl’ bikes that are now widely available throughout Newquay for a small charge. The town centre (Central Square) is just over a mile away. Other areas of interest such as the boating lake, Trenance Gardens and Newquay Zoo are all less than 1 mile away.

Penny was a lovely host to us. Her place was really tidy and comfortable and it felt really private and homely which was a plus. We visited Cornwall to go surfing and she really went the extra mile by letting us use her facilities to wash our wetsuits and store our boards. We bumped into Penny and her husband a couple of times and we were always greeted with a smile. The place was also nice and clean and we were able to cook a couple of meals during our stay which was great. Being able to have our own access into the property was nice as we could come and go as we pleased without bothering anyone at 6.00am for a morning surf! Thank you Penny for a wonderful stay. Penny was very friendly & helpful. She welcomed us upon arrival and gave us our space to enjoy the property. The room is spacious, comfortable, and clean. We definitely recommend staying here.
exactly as the listing stated, very clean comfortable and accessible stay.. felt like a little bit of home at the bottom of the garden, excellent communication and even a pint of milk in the fridge 🙌🏼
