A smart tv is located in the snug and has a built in casting facility to enable you to play your own subscription streaming platforms (from your own device.) There is also an impressive mezzanine area flooded with natural light that overlooks the courtyard ideal for relaxing with a good book or just taking in the surrounding countryside. In terms of outside space, you have access to the front garden, the courtyard and the walled garden. This house has a host of original features, ornate cornicing, working fireplaces and a Victorian canopy bath. The house is set in mature gardens and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is within minutes drive of Strangford Lough - which offers a range of walks and activities and has a perfect wild swimming spot as referenced in at the Times recommended wild swimming article in 2020. There are many excellent restaurants and cafes in in the area such as Balloo House, Daft Eddies, Poacher’s Pocket and the Old Post Office.
