The pictures do not do this place justice! The cabin is situated on a flowing creek with multiple waterfalls that you can hear from inside of the cabin. There are paths throughout the property with a handful of places to sit along the water. Inside was clean and comfortable, and the host thought of all of the small details! The beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and the property is absolutely wonderful! Our toddler and dogs enjoyed playing at the creek, and we all enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The cabin is conveniently located to Highlands, NC (15 minutes), Dillard, (25 minutes) and Franklin, NC (30 minutes). Hiking is plentiful and the scenery is gorgeous! We will definitely be back!

Had a great trip with my wife and 4 kids ranging 1-9 yrs old. Loved the wood stove and loved that it was stocked with everything needed to easily start a toasty fire. The upstairs living room was super cozy and awesome for a lounge. Kids also loved playing in the creek - it was shallow enough that we were 100% comfortable letting our 5 and 6 year old play in it relatively unsupervised with our oldest to watch them. (We could hear them from up on the porch but couldn’t see them). The downstairs where the two bedrooms were was a little damp , but not enough that we would have stayed elsewhere knowing what we know now - just something to be aware of if you’re particularly sensitive to that sort of thing. All in all had a great time and would definitely stay again. Very enjoyable stay

The setting was serene and peaceful - I loved the hardscaping and landscaping - moss covered rocks, established plants - very nice! The creek was beautiful, and the kids loved playing in the creek. We spent hours on the porch reading and relaxing, watching hummingbirds, and letting time stand still.
