Welcome! Bienvenidos! On behalf of my husband Bruce, and I we thank you for considering our home as your next vacation, get-away or long-term stay in the quaint fishing village of Chelem, Yucatan. When I was a small child my father made the decision to immigrate to the United States to provide his children opportunities he never had growing up. However, he always dreamt that someday he would return to his beloved Mexico and build a home where he would enjoy his twilight years. As life would have it, my father was unable to fulfill his dream before passing away years ago. After retiring as a school principal in 2017 and with the support and encouragement of my children and husband, I decided to honor my father's memory by making his dream come true. My only requirements were to build our "Mexican Casa" on the beach, in a safe and secure area, surrounded by a rich and diverse cultural environment. And here we have it. Casa Sol y Sal was made from love and it is a place where we are making memories with family and friends. My father would be proud to know that his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren play, laugh, learn and enjoy time together in this hidden gem.
