Super responsive hosts, peaceful and private pool and backyard hang area, and fun tiny town to visit where locals were vacationing for Easter. The kitchens, bathrooms, pool and bedding were perfectly clean, but the walls, doors and floors could use a little better cleaning. All in all, we would go back again!!

Una casa muy bonita, con gran espacio en la alberca para pasar las tardes muy a gusto. Super recomendable
El alojamiento es igual a lo que se ve en las fotos, muy privado, tranquilo y el lugar tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda en la casa. Ideal para descansar, considerar que está a aprox 30 min de progreso y 45 - 50 min de Mérida centro. Blanca y Verónica nos apoyaron con un inconveniente que tuvimos con el agua caliente y solucionaron rápido. La alberca es fría si no le da el sol, pero está bien, muy cerca caminando de la playa que es muy tranquila y hermosa.
The house is nice and so is the outside area - with one downside. The birds really like the pool and its surroundings too, so unfortunately there was poo and feathers in and around it.

Chuburna Puerto is a *sleepy little fishing village with white sandy beaches, coconut palms and charming little restaurants that are close to the house Chelem is a 10 minute drive where you can find a small grocery store and restaurants.
Chuburná and the neighboring village, Chelem, have many small fish restaurants where it is cheap to eat. A meal consisting of fresh fish or seafood and a beer can easily be under $10 USD. The street tacos and grilled chicken are not to be missed. For those who want to cook at home, there are well-stocked supermarkets in Progresso and Merida where you can find everything you need Progresso is about 20 minutes from the house and Merida about 40 minutes away by car.
There are few public transportation options and they are limited in schedule, the taxi and Uber services are not constant. For your convenience, we recommend renting a car to be able to move freely and explore the places of interest, enjoy the beaches and restaurants.
