The place was cute, but the pictures on the website were very outdated and the place is a bit more worn than the pictures show. However, it was generally very functional. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and we had all that we required for many home cooked meals and braais. Absolutely beautiful gardens and bird life, and in the afternoons the next door property had horses that we became friendly with. Wifi was extremely good. The lounge and dining areas were great for relaxing with friends, and the outdoor patio was lovely for morning coffee. Such a lovely little town with stunning walks/hikes.

Our family has been coming to McGregor for many years to visit my granny. She no longer has a big house to host us. Francolin cottage was a lovely spot for us to be nearby to visit her and spend Christmas together. We loved the big stoep area! Thanks so much 😊
