Staying here was an absolute delight. The location was very peaceful and in close proximity to Sheridan where i was working. Tina's extreme organization skills showed through in the meticulously organized linens and arrangements. As a frequent business traveler who averages 180 nights/year in a hotel room, I would not hesitate to come back.
Was very responsive and even offered for us to check in hours early. Very clean and had everything we needed.
Walked in and it was just as pictured except Tina added some very sweet and festive Easter decor since it was Easter weekend. The place was clean, very organised, and had everything you need. I really enjoyed the style of the place and how I could drive to nearby walking paths and hiking trails. I brought my two huskies and we all felt cozy and relaxed.
What a gem this place is. Exactly as shown in the pictures and described. There's nothing you'll need that Tina's cozy place doesn't have. Kitchen have everything you need and more, furniture is so pretty and comfy, super clean, really nice appliances, dogs bowls for food and water, whatever it is, if you needed it is there. Quiet lake, amaizing views, the perfect place to wind down. On top of that Tina goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Treats on the kitchen counter, water bottles in the fridge, even new toothbrushes in the bathroom (wich was pretty convenient for me since I left mine home🤣) . You only need to bring your food, everything else is taken care of. If you are thinking of booking this place, go ahead and do it, you'll love it!. We surely will be back when is warmer so we can fully enjoy the lake. Thanks for a lovely time Tina!!
Tina’s place was wonderful! The cleanest and most organized home I’ve had the pleasure of renting. The beds were really comfortable and the surroundings peaceful. It gave us the change of pace we were looking for. My daughter is already asking when we’ll go back to “the little blue house on the lake.” We’re hoping to visit again in the summer.

Hi there! We are so happy to meet you. Here is a little bit about our family. Ed and Tina are Entrepreneurs that enjoying working together and chasing goals and dreams. We have been married for 25 years and look forward to another 25. We love to travel to new places and meet new people. We have four amazing kids. They have all graduated so now we have more time to travel and explore. We won't go too far since we have grandbabies now, but we do love to explore. We are from Michigan and love our Michigan summers, however, look forward to the day we can travel to warmer climates in the winter more. We have a family dog that we love to travel with. She is a wonderful car companion and travels very well. She is a 10 pound Cavapoo that is hypo-allergenic and non-shedding. She is a non-barker and loved by everyone. We have lots of friends that love to have her visit so we understand when hosts exclude pets, but love to bring her when we can. We are respectful guests of AirBNB hosts. We try to leave things just like, or even nicer, than we found them. We treat your home like our home. We appreciate all the little extras that hosts provide for guests and don't take that for granted. We have recently made the switch from just being a guest to being a host too! We took an old summer cottage down to the studs and brought it back to life. It is a beautiful place on a lake in the middle of Michigan. We love our little cottage and want to share it with families to enjoy. We want to give families a place to make memories.
