This place is so scary and people follow you and sit outside with headlights on watching you I had to have my daughter come back out and pick me up

Definitely a rustic house, as advertised. There was no AC in the house so it was very hot and humid. Towels were super soft and water pressure in the shower was great. It does have well water. My husband and I are typically fine with well water but we would recommend bringing bottled water here. The bed is VERY firm and the double bed advertised is just an air mattress. The lake is about a 5 minute walk into the back yard. However, we were stopped by a friendly neighbor saying we weren't allowed to be back there. Not sure if the house technically doesn't have lake access or we wandering too far but that area could definitely use clarification for future users. Overall, we had a great time disconnecting but don't think it was worth the cost listed.

The house is a little dated but it’s a quiet location and includes everything you need. The hosts were also very polite and informative.

Not the greatest place to be. The interior was incredibly hot and made it hard to sleep. We also encountered 2 mice during our stay. The bathroom door also doesn’t shut all the way, causing some issues there. Overall felt unsettled and unsafe during our stay. But if you’re looking for a very remote place to stay, this would work.

Great cabin. A good place to unwind. The host was very attentive and the property was clean and tidy. lots of bedding and linens. It turned out to be quite a hike to the lake and the boat was not in the water so if you use it you have to haul it to the lake. We decided to just fish off the dock. Caught a lot of fish and had a great time around the fire pit. All said we had a lot of fun reconnecting with family instead of the internet!
