We had a lovely time with our friends at this beautiful ranch home perfectly situated near Summersville Lake, the Gauley River, and the New River Gorge. Attention to detail is important and John has certainly covered all the bases. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, the house was very clean and tastefully decorated, and the rural property is peaceful and calming. There is plenty of outdoor seating with a barbeque grill and a fire pit and the yard is huge for any outdoor games one would like to enjoy. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms have all the expected amenities. We hope to return to this home in the future for another getaway.

Excellent place - John was very responsive and the place was exactly as described. Everything was clean and the house looked newly renovated. Peaceful location with everything we needed (linens, coffee pods, cooking equipment, etc.). Excellent location relative to the New River Gorge. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place and this host to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Christy was my best Airbnb host yet. She was extremely attentive and wanted to make sure we had the best stay. The house is in pristine condition, and exactly as described, but was still above my expectations. I won't hesitate to book this home again. Thank you much for a wonderful stay and a perfect place to rest after a long day of wild wonderful WV adventures!

We stayed at this place for our New River Gorge trip for two families that included one teenager and three preteen kids. We had a great experience. Here are some points: - The house is in a quiet neighborhood. It is welcoming and has a nice, large, unfenced yard that feels pretty private. Not much in terms of views but still good. - The house was adequate to accommodate 4 adults and 4 kids. The bunk beds are good size for the kids. - Everything was well stocked ... towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, grill tools, deck furniture and accessories, etc. There is a laundry in the garage as well. The place was clean and the hosts were responsive and very accommodating of requests. Overall, good value. We enjoyed our stay. Note: Garage can accommodate only one car due to the laundry and ramp.

Excellent accommodations and Christy was a very welcoming host! My wife and I planned several days of hiking New River Gorge National Park with our three young children and this home was the perfect home base for our adventures. The home was very well-maintained, exceptionally clean, exceptionally stocked with essentials, and in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The home was even stocked with some toys and games that our kids really appreciated. Highly recommend this home for families with small children!
