We stayed in Joan's house as we were attending a wedding in The Lodge at Ashford Castle. The location was perfect and Joan and her daughter even dropped up to the wedding to save us bringing our car. Breakfast of scrambled egg, rasher, cereal and toast was lovely.

Joan always answered our queries and was very helpful prior to arrival. Once there, she made my husband and myself feel welcome and at home, making sure that we had everything we needed! The breakfast was an added bonus, as you could leave the accommodation well fed :) We couldn't have asked for more! Location was perfect as we wanted to be somewhere in the vicinity of Ashford Castle. A car is a must, and Joan has private parking on her property. We cannot recommend her highly enough and will not hesitate to go back!

Joan and her daughter were so friendly and kind. We were well taken care of. Tea/coffee available in our room. Breakfast was delicious. Room was super nice and clean. They were very knowledgeable about the area. Would stay there again!
