This was a perfect overnight stay during a horse event in Paso Robles. Quiet and peaceful yet easy access back to Paso Robles and convenience stores (Vons etc. ) Thanks Peyton, much appreciated. 😀

I enjoyed this weekend getaway with my partner. We had a cozy weekend in, enjoyed cooking, building a Lego set and watching tv. We loved the big windows and beautiful outdoor area. Check out was 10 am which was the earliest we had experienced. That would be the only thing I would consider if booking again. Beautiful and cozy home!

The cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway in CA Central Coast wine country. We could’ve stayed even longer than 2 nights comfortably. The place is well stocked with kitchen items, spices, coffee, sugar, etc. The washer & dryer, and office area with giant computer monitor make it convenient for longer stays. The views… the whole south facing side of the cottage faces out over the valley and rolling hills. Wake up to beautiful horses and grazing sheep on the neighboring property. Amazing views after the occasional morning fog burns off. It’s only a couple miles from a bunch of great restaurants in downtown Atascadero. Overall, the cottage was exactly as described and a perfect base for our wine tasting adventures. Peyton was communicative and sent easy to follow check-in directions early on check-in day. We were welcomed by a couple of friendly pups who were happy to greet us with wagging tails. We loved the space and would be happy to stay again!

Pros: This place worked well for my husband and I and our dog over 5 days. It was spacious and had a nice standing desk which was great for working. Big TV with streaming made it easy to relax. I feel like the price was comparable to a mediocre hotel stay but we got a lot more room to spread out and it was pet-friendly which was a huge plus. Good value Cons: The reason for the 4 star review is that things weren't up to my expectations around the cleanliness and amenities. You could tell that the place had been "cleaned" (given a wipedown) but it really could use a professional deep clean IMO. There was some grime on the cabinets, dusty surfaces, and streaky mirrors etc. There were other things that gave me the ick, like dirty sponges in the sink, sticky food seasoning bottles, dirty/wet laundry in the closet hamper, and trash left in the bathroom. It also could have been better stocked with kitchen and cleaning essentials (esp. for longer stays). Host was very responsive and helpful.
