My husband and I stayed at Tyler and Colleens GEM for a four day get away. It was amazing! They supplied so many "little" things that normal rentals do not. The weekend we stayed was very cold and windy, so we did not spend a lot of time outdoors , however, my husband couldnt help himself and took a spin in a kayak that was supplied by the owners. The bed in the master was SO comfortable! I absolutely loved every single thing about this house and we WILL be back. It is only 3 minutes from town even though you feel like you are so far out in the country and right on the river! SO beautiful! We had a few questions and Tyler and Colleen always got back with me in under 5 minutes and at the same time were so respectful of our privacy during out stay. HIGHLY recommend !!

Tyler and Colleen’s place on the Crystal River is a little piece of heaven Up North. This was our second time staying here with our dear friends and it was even harder to leave this time than the first! As soon as you enter, you have a gorgeous view of the Crystal River and feel the cleanliness and coziness of the home. We were greeted with a bottle of local wine and Leelanau coffee which was such a nice gesture. This year, Colleen and Tyler added four kayaks and four bikes! We had a blast kayaking the River then sitting out by the fire (with plenty of wood provided!). And on “not-so-great” weather days we enjoyed the fireplace inside. Plenty to do in a perfect location around the corner from Glen Arbor. We can’t say enough good things about this home and we can’t wait to go back!

We spent a marvelous week in late March at Tyler and Colleen's place. So peaceful! The location - right at a little river, off a road with absolutely zero through traffic, totally private and quiet, in a charming village, within minutes from the most magnificent beaches and gorgeous landscape you can imagine, a short drive from a great foodie town with excellent restaurants and shopping - simply cannot be beat. The place itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, light and airy, and lovingly restored just a year or so ago. The comfortable beds and high-quality linen, pillows, and comforter deserve extra praise! And there's a nice fireplace well-stocked with good, dry wood and plenty of firestarter. Tyler and Colleen were astonishingly responsive. I don't think they ever took more than 10 minutes to get back to us. At the same time, they were super respectful of our privacy. We'll be back!

Amazing place, both inside and out. Quiet. Perfectly appointed and great amenities. Loved the sauna, the river, wildlife, and the indoor fireplace. Great hosts. Friendly and always responsive, even proactive. (Tyler cleared a tree-fall blocking the road quickly after a night wind storm). Will certainly be back without hesitation. It was hard to leave.

We loved staying here. Very cozy with an amazing river view. The bed and pillows were great. We will definitely stay here again.
