This is a beautiful setting right on the Illinois River, with plenty of room for a crowd. The house was very well stocked with supplies. The outdoor area is beautiful and great for entertaining a group with plenty of places to sit, firepit, gorgeous views, and a lovely yard. We are moving to the area soon, so the location was perfect for us being just a few minutes from downtown Siloam Springs, which is very charming. The owners are incredibly nice and were quick to respond with the few issues we had. The house itself is a little rundown and not as comfortable as we expected (low quality linens, towels, appliances, lack of glassware) for the price, particularly for those that may not be used to country living and all that entails (bugs, critters, etc.). If you have small children or dogs, note that the river edge is very steep and the water is fast moving, so you'll need to be on high alert. Overall, we had a great stay and would return.

The home is nice and has a good layout, it’s really functional. We were expecting a little more secluded location, but we could have researched that more. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utinsels, but the cabinets were dirty on the inside. And a lot of personal food items were there which is just not what we would prefer, I think it’s better to not have personal stuff. Over all the house needed a deeper clean and it would have been better. The location wasn’t ideal for us, but we are use to more seclusion.
