Carlos was a great host! We arrived early while he was there doing some last minute polishing. He welcomed us in, apologized for being there (totally not necessary since we were early). He was so friendly and a pleasure to talk with - we quickly found common ground in restoring old homes. His place was spotless, very tastefully decorated, and he had obviously put a lot of work into modernizing an older home - one of the nicest in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is older, but we felt safe. We had a parking space in the driveway. The master bedroom faces the street and we did not hear any street or neighborhood noise at night. The location is close to a market, about 10 blocks from a great neighborhood deli and sub shop, easy on and off the highway with no highway noise, close to the bridge to Canada, and about 30 minutes to the Buffalo Bills stadium for games and concerts. We would definitely stay at Carlos’ place again when visiting Buffalo.

Clear easy instructions sent well in advance which is always appreciated! Was a little chilly inside upon check in but warmed up quickly when we turned up temp which thankfully we could set to our desired temp(we have been to some airbnbs, mostly down south, who try to lock their places at certain temps). Was nice to have our own space. You could tell there was another portion to the house but we could barely heard them. Felt safe, Got to park in driveway which was appreciated. Loved the extras-some waters in fridge upon arrival, lots of extras in the bathroom in case you forget something, and extra blankets and pillows and even a fan in our room! 👍Liked one of the blankets so much my hubby ordered me one for our bed! Also SUPER close and convenient to Sheas where we went for a show. Did UBER as we didn't want to deal with parking and the "to and from" was quick and easy! Also got food delivered to the house through door dash, also easy! Thanks for a nice stay!
