Ceredigion · 整套度假屋 · 2室0床2.0卫 · 可住4人 · Bay View Lodge Brynowen, a perfect Holiday retreat
Relax with the family, or take time out with friends in this wonderful, fully equipped home from home. The lodge is situated high on a hill within a tranquil setting that looks out over Cardigan bay and down to the Ynyslas National Nature Reserve. Perfect for chilling out while watching the waves rolling in, followed by a sunset over the sea. If you'd like to stay local, within the park there is a family restaurant, pool, adventure playground, tennis courts, a convenience store, and bar. Bay View lodge is a generously sized lodge with over 800 sq ft. of space, fully central heated with a feature fireplace, far-reaching views across cardigan bay can be seen from the picture windows, and when enjoying time outside on the deck. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, and a washer-dryer. The twin bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and is located next to the family bathroom which has a bath and shower. The master bedroom is also generous in size with a king-size bed, side tables, walk-in wardrobe, and ensuite. The view from the bedroom window is pretty amazing too!
The caravan has amazing views and is extremely peaceful. It was well cleaned with lots of small attentions. Our son enjoyed the pool and arcade in the main park. As described it is a long way up a hill but that was ok.
This lodge was immaculate with views to die for. We loved the lodge so much and it had everything you could need. The best part was sitting on the balcony watching the sun set over the ocean. Totally worth the 6 hour drive from Cornwall. We will likely be back next year!
Honestly, it was an incredible stay, we went with my parents, 8month old baby and a dog, everywhere was spotless, the view was incredible. Easy to access. Tracy and Colin were so helpful, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better lodge, setting and hosts. Thank you so so much. We really hope to stay again next year!!!!🤞🏻🤞🏻
The small town of Borth has a good range of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and local services as well as a slipway for launching small boats and a cafe close by. The 512 bus service, and Borth train Station will take you along the Cardigan bay coastline.
Borth Beach, because of its shallow waters, Borth beach is well suited to families with young children and is also a popular location for swimming, surfing, fishing, sailing, and windsurfing, and for walking the dog out of season.
To its north and east, Borth is surrounded by protected sites; a massive peat bog - Cors Goch Fochno - and the magnificent sand dune system of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve at Ynyslas (approx. 1mile away). Here you will find a seasonal Information Centre operated by Natural Resources Wales where the significance of the nature reserve is explained. Dogs are welcome on the beach headland all year round.
Borth is a popular base for walkers on the Wales Coast and marks the northern end of the Ceredigion Coast Path. Is also the western end of one of Ceredigion's other walking routes climbing high into the Cambrian Mountains and linking to the Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor and Red Kite Feeding Centre, Devil's Bridge, Cwm Ystwyth and the historic Hafod Estate before proceeding to Pontrhydfendigaid. This route forms a grand circle returning via the Ystwyth Trail, a combined footpath and cycle route, towards Aberystwyth.
Within the town of Borth there is limited parking, but you will always find somewhere, eventually, you can walk to most places from the lodge park, although the lodge is situated in an elevated position and has quite a steep incline from the beach back to the lodge, you may want to consider driving.
The 'moovitapp' has all the information you need in regard to public transport, you can travel all along the coast by both bus (512) and train, using Borth Railway station, a journey I would recommend for the scenery alone.
