It was a great location and the host was very communicative! Cabin was what we wanted and it was easy to check in and out. It was also easy to get to and from park.

Great quiet place and within walking distance to the Pinehurst Lodge Bar and Grill to grab a bite and a drink. Really close to the north entrance of the park, however, the portion of the 245 up to the park was closed when we went so we had to go around. It took a few minutes to locate the place but very clear instructions on how to gain access was provided

About as close as you can stay neat KC/SNP without being in the park. We loved the cabin! Just what we were hoping for—rustic, but complete. There are a lot of legacy items in the cabin, which is cool. We had deer visit us, and the blackberry harvest was bountiful. Lunch or dinner nearby at the Pinehurst Lodge, but make sure you bring everything else you want or need because there’s really no options nearby.
