Forton · 整套小木屋 · 2室3床1.5卫 · 可住4人 · Nuthatch: Wooden lodge with private hot tub
Built using traditional methods from wood grown on site and from within 10 miles, the lodge is both energy and environmentally efficient. We aim to give you that cosy, romantic log cabin retreat experience with a solid wood burner, private hot tub and free access to our seasonal outdoor heated pool (end May - Sept). If the dates you require are already booked, please look at our other cabins: Woodpecker Lodge, Tawny Owl Lodge, Hedgehog Lodge (all with private hot tubs) or Roe Deer Lodge. The lodge has a main living/dining/kitchen area with double doors onto the balcony with hot tub. The main bedroom has a king size bed and also has double doors onto the balcony. The second bedroom sleeps two with either two single beds or a second king (please specify which is preferred when booking) and the bathroom has a walk in shower.
Nuthatch lodge was lovely to stay at. Fully equipped kitchen and central heating. Nice desking and hot tub was always ready. Nice no-fuss stay. Thank you.
The nuthatch cabin was an amazing experience!, it was spacious, very comfortable natural & warm, Great if you wanted to go in the winter! If you’d like to know what it’s like, to live somewhere in the woods in a cozy cabin, go here! 🌼
Great three night stay at Nuthatch cabin in early March ‘24. Cabin was very well appointed, comfortable, private and quiet, so great for unwinding, relaxing in the hot tub or inside by the warmth of the wood burner. Lots to see and do within a 30 minute radius of Forton, so location is very good. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the nearby Tytherleigh Arms and a very nice day out in Lyme Regis, including walking some of the coastal path. Keith was very responsive and accommodating, so a stay at Nuthatch cabin is definitely recommended.
We had a fantastic long weekend in Nuthatch cabin. The site was very peaceful and well maintained. The cabin was warm and cosy and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay with a dog. All of the furniture and fittings felt brand new and the decor was cosy but modern and in keeping with the feeling of the cabin. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with lovely crisp white sheets. As a self confessed neat freak, I was very pleased that the whole cabin felt extremely clean and well maintained. We enjoyed one of the local walks featured in the cabin manual and also visited a couple of local National Trust sites with fantastic views. This was the perfect escape from a busy house full of young adult children, we absolutely intend on visiting again and have recommended it to a number of friends already! Thank you Keith and Serena for a lovely break :)
