Our stay at La Vie Douce was definitely enjoyable and worth it. The house was very clean and spacious and a wonderful "base" for persons who love the outdoors. It was a stone's throw from the Spring Bridge, as well as Three Pools. For the more athletic, hiking enthusiasts, the house is at the start of the Paria hiking trail. The outdoor porch is large with a BBQ pit and there was also a fireside available, so our family ate outside most of the time. If you're looking for a relaxing, getaway.... you can grab a book and relax in the hammock or if you wish to explore nearby hiking trails and waterfalls, check this place out!! Tiny was a very gracious and responsive host...even checking in while we were there to ensure that we were comfortable at all times. Oh...the kitchen is also well equipped, so you just need to bring your self and your food and have a wonderful stay!!

We were very happy with our stay at La Vie Douce. The house is quite comfortable with all rooms air conditioned. A spacious liming area and beach within a 5 minute walk away.

The living room was almost unusable due to the dry rotting leather dust and leather pieces coming off the couches. sitting and using the couches would result in you looking like it snowed leather on you. neither one of the very large tvs either in the living room or master bedroom work. one shower was broken and not usable. despite not collect keys for the house until 3pm and arriving to the house around 5pm, we had to BEG for a reasonable check out time as leaving at 10am wasn't possible with 2 babies under 2 and 2 older kids (4 total). I left their house sweaty and with a migraine and with my kids fussy and hungry. the last day was robbed from us and solely used to get our family and belongings out of the house

Tiny is a great host. The house is exactly what you need for a weekend get away. The beach is quite close and private. The house is very well stocked with everything you could need.

We loved staying at La Vie Douce. It was a wonderful place for our extended family to spend the holidays. The bedrooms accommodated everyone easily. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils that made it easy to make all of our meals. The outdoor patio is where we ate meals and spent the most relaxed time. We loved using the outdoor showers after going to the beach, and we explored some nearby natural pools and beaches which were beautiful. Tiny was very responsive to all of our questions and very welcoming when we arrived. A lovely place!
