Abysmal…Totally misleading about price and pet fees. Sam harassed me with calls and texts incessantly day 1 (I told him I was at work and could talk/pay the pet fee later). If he was actually there when we arrived (I text him arrival time updates), he’d have gotten his extorted pet fee then. But to then non-stop badger/call me like I was trying to get out of paying, is discourteous and un-host-like. So frustrating, and the accompanying rash of texts were rude and accusatory. I even offered to cash app him. The pet fee was a COMPLETE surprise to me, and was NOT disclosed ANYWHERE on Airbnb. Worst part was, the pet fee (for cats) is equal to their amount for an actual human to stay. (Which is the max Airbnb will allow…how clever). Had I been informed of this prior, I’d have NEVER booked that rundown room. I could have gone to a decent motel for $25 less per night! But I couldn’t cancel once told about the bs fee, because I would have been due a “partial refund”. Zero stars if I could.
