We just had a lovely stay at this cottage. There were 6 adults and the cottage still felt spacious with all the essentials available. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Mevagissey harbour is only a short walk away with many restaurants and coffee shops. Would definitely go again.

We had a wonderful long weekend here, my husband and I, along with two adult children and partners. Everything in Mevagissey was walkable and everyone we met very friendly! You need to be sufficiently fit to manage going up and down stairs and hills and I can’t say I loved carrying our cases from the car park up to the cottage! However that inconvenience was outweighed by the wonderful proximity to town and harbour and coastal path.

This a great house right in the heart of Mevagissey. It does come with a warning that you cannot drive down to the house itself, and the hill to get down and up to the car for loading is pretty steep. However, the walk to the separate carpark is easy, and the house is two minutes from the harbour, so perfectly located. The house is great, clean, has everything you need in it! We bought fish from the harbour and veg from the local green grocer and cooked great meals. Nothing negative to say really, and we would definitely stay again.

We had a couple of questions & William was very quick to respond. Lovely welcome bottle of prosecco, milk, cookies, tea & coffee. Stumbled across the property whilst exploring the town before gaining access. Car park attendant advised us that we could park in loading bay at War memorial to carry all our bags up to property. This wouldn't be easy for young children or elderly. These negatives were worth the close proximity to centre & the peacefulness once tge day trippers had departed! Beautiful town & very comfortable accommodation.

On the whole the property is good. It was clean when we arrived and it is centrally located in Mevagissey so that everything is easy to get to. But for us, a few things let it down, mainly the lack of parking facilities at the property. Due to the narrow street where the house is situated, it is not possible to drive up to the property so luggage and personal items need to be carried up/down a very steep hill. Slightly annoying to do this on first arrival/departing or with heavy shopping bags. This also means it is not possible to leave a vehicle over night next to the property, instead parking is in a public car park in town. We didn't experience any issues with parking but I didn't personally like having to leave a brand new car in a public car park overnight for several days. There is also a noisy fan at the top of the stairs immediately outside two bedrooms. I couldn't find a way of turning the fan off and it made it difficult to sleep with noise of the fan running all night.
