I loved my stay here, the house is beautiful & the surroundings are also stunning. I felt right at home here! I stayed during a very cold few days but the house was well heated & kept me warm. The hot tub was also great! The location was perfect, close to beaches, lovely walks through fields & to the harbour. Great place for dog owners as the garden is fully fenced & secure. Would definitely recommend & I will be booking again.

We stayed for a long weekend in December and we had an amazing time. Vicki's place is incredible, everything listed is present and we had such beautiful views. We will certainly consider staying here again when we come back to Cornwall. Vicki was responsive to any queries we had during our stay. A great house with a great host.

Beautiful cottage set on hill above Mevagissey. Amazing sea views and walks across fields from the doorstep - happy dog! Vicki was a really helpful and responsive host

Windmills is situated on top of Tregoney Hill and a 15 min (steep) walk into Mevagissey via the road or footpath. The house was clean and tidy with an enclosed garden that made it easy with our two dogs. Bedrooms all have their own ensuite which makes the house easy for families. There are some walks from the house for the dogs but you will need to use the narrow road for longer circular walks. The house is well set up but bring all your essentials with you for cooking. The road in and out of the cottage is narrow so be prepared for some reversing and I would also avoid driving into Mevagissey via the Tregoney Hill road. The walk to the village is easy and we found the footpath (and steps) better as it brings you out at the lovely harbor viewpoint. There are views out over the coast and sea from the house and the hot tub with view was a nice touch on the slightly cooler days. The food at The Crown (St Ewe, 10 mins drive) was good.

We had a brilliant week at Windmills and would thoroughly recommend it. The house is in a fantastic location above Mevagissey with uninterrupted views over the fields to the sea and the spot is so peaceful. It is a short walk through fields down the hill to Mevagissey and it was great to be able to visit without having to drive and park in the village. We loved walking the dog down to the beach at Portmellon and along the cliff path each day, stopping to collect pastries in Meva (definitely try the bakery!). We also visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan which was a very short drive away and had a lovely day cycling from Pentawen to Meva and going crabbing (we'd really recommend the cycle place in Pentawen too who were so flexible and accomodating). The hot tub was such a bonus and was great for warming up in after a bracing sea swim! The house was very warm and comfortable and really well equipped. Vikki had provided some great local recommendations. We can't wait to come back!
