After our initial stay, my husband and I stayed at The Rock House for approximately 6 months while we moved from another state, listed and sold our house, and bought a new home. Emmett was responsive and flexible as we navigated that process. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone needing a quiet place to stay in the area. It has great amenities and served us well for our extended stay.

Emmett’s place is exactly as described: a charming cottage that has been updated to modern conveniences. It’s close enough to town but also far enough out that there is less traffic. I read the reviews mentioning train noise, but I feel that blends into the background. The place was clean, and Emmett’s dad even stopped by to say hi. This is a great place to stay.

Emmett's stone cottage is a beautiful house that from the outside feels like a farmhouse from the early 20th century, with a green yard and large shade trees. On the inside, however it'sa thoroughly modern, lovingly renovated house full of amenities. the decor is beautiful, the appliances quite useful and the space very livable. My husband and I, and our pets needed a place to spend a month between the closing date on our house sale and the date we could take possession of a new house. Emmett's house was a perfect place for us.
